CaveCon One

a brand‑new RPG event filled with history, adventure, and underground antics in ancient Sandstone Caves.

Hosted at the historic Olde Salutation Inn in Nottingham on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th November 2026, CaveCon One brings together some of the best Dungeon Masters, a wide range of RPG systems, writers, and industry guests for a truly unique weekend of storytelling and exploration — all set within one of Britain’s most atmospheric venues, complete with the ancient sandstone caves beneath it.

What to Expect

  • Two full days of tabletop RPGs, including sessions in the caves

  • Special guest appearances, events, tours, and talks throughout the weekend (see CaveCon One event schedule)

  • Planned tabletop RPG games with our veteran hosts and Dungeon Masters include Call of Cthulhu, Rivers of London, Vaesen, Dungeons & Dragons and more

Note: This will be an exclusive event with only 24 day tickets available for each day!

Each day ticket includes:

  • Two 3‑hour RPG sessions (one before lunch and one after)

  • Access to two special events — one between sessions and one after (guest talk, tour, visit, or special game)

A venue packed with History… and Mystery

  • The Sal (as locals call it) is a Grade 2 Listed building dating back to around 1240!

  • The caves predate the building and are thought to be part of a Saxon Farm from the 9th Century

  • It also claims to host 89 resident apparitions!
